This policy explains what personal information AEC Next Private Limited collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to you. It applies to our website at aecnextgen.com and to the AEC NEXT platform.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details such as name, work email, company, role and phone number.
Billing information, including GST details where applicable. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Enquiry and support correspondence.

Information created through use

Drawing files and project data you upload for checking, and the reports generated from them.
Usage data such as log-in times, features used, sheets processed and error diagnostics.
Device and connection data including IP address, browser type and operating system.

2. How we use it

To provide, operate, secure and improve the Service.
To process subscriptions, issue invoices and collect payment.
To respond to enquiries and provide support and onboarding.
To send service notices, and — where you have opted in — product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

3. Drawing files

Uploaded drawings are processed to produce your check report and are then cleared from processing systems. They are not sold, shared with other customers, or used to train machine-learning models. Detailed handling is described on our Data Security page.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments, or provide support and analytics tooling, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Professional advisers, auditors or authorities where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.
An acquirer, in the event of a merger or sale of business, subject to the protections in this policy.

5. Retention

Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required by Indian tax and company law. Uploaded drawings and generated reports are retained only for the period needed to deliver the Service and are then deleted. You may request earlier deletion.

6. Security

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and monitoring appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you are responsible for safeguarding your own credentials.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, erasure, or withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent to hello@aecnextgen.com and will be answered within the timelines prescribed by law.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and keep you signed in, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection through contractual safeguards.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The revision date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be notified to account holders.
