Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the AEC NEXT platform, website and related services operated by AEC Next Private Limited. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

1. Definitions

  • Company, we or us means AEC Next Private Limited, incorporated in India with its registered office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
  • Service means the AEC NEXT drawing quality-control platform, its website, and any associated tools or reports.
  • Customer or you means the individual or organisation that subscribes to or uses the Service.
  • Customer Data means drawing files, project information and any other material you upload to or generate through the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Accounts may not be shared beyond the number of seats included in your plan.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are offered on a monthly or annual subscription and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Fees are stated exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, which are charged in addition.
  • We may revise pricing with at least thirty days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
  • Usage above your plan's stated limits may require an upgrade or incur additional charges, notified in advance.
  • Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload unlawful, infringing or malicious material; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; to reverse engineer, resell or white-label the Service without written consent; to interfere with its operation; or to exceed reasonable usage in a way that degrades service for others.

5. Nature of the Service

AEC NEXT is an assistive quality-control tool. It is designed to identify likely errors and inconsistencies in drawing sets and to accelerate review. It does not replace professional judgement, statutory approvals, or the responsibilities of a licensed architect, engineer or other professional of record. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy, adequacy and compliance of your drawings and for all decisions taken on the basis of any report generated.

6. Intellectual property

All rights in the Service, including software, models, rule sets, interfaces, branding and documentation, remain with the Company or its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription term.

You retain all rights in your Customer Data. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Customer Data to train machine-learning models.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will treat the other's non-public information as confidential and use it only for the purposes of this agreement. This obligation survives termination. Our handling of uploaded files is described in the Data Security and Privacy Policy pages.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance will be notified where practicable. Support channels and response targets depend on your plan.

9. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Company against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of applicable law, or from Customer Data infringing the rights of a third party.

12. Term and termination

These terms apply for as long as you use the Service. Either party may terminate at the end of a billing period. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for material breach, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, your right to access the Service ends and remaining Customer Data is deleted in line with our retention practice.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any agreed arbitration.
